This was a replacement for a burn pot in my 5 year old Pit Boss that had perforated. The 4 retaining screws were a bit of a struggle to remove due to the high temps encountered but I was able to get them, 2 of them requiring vice grips and a torch.The listing for this product does state that supplied hardware may not fit all grills and to reuse old hardware if necessary. The screws did not fit (machine screws rather than the sheet metal ones used in my Pit Boss) and my original ones were a bit mangled after removal. A quick trip to the hardware store solved this issue.The product itself works well and I see no difference in performance. Installation was simple enough if you ignored the supplied instructions and looked on youtube for the trick of rotating the pot counter clockwise 1/8 turn before lifting out.would have given the product 5 stars but the advise of reusing old fasteners was not appropriate. They should have added the additional screws for the Pit Boss as they advertise support for the product.

I was skeptical at first, but this did the trick! My original Fire burn pot in my Pit Boss smoker/grill was unusable and rusting. I changed out the ignitor and the pot, and this has been doing great!

Burner pot fit tightly but was able to make it work. BBQ works way better now with a new burner pot.

The burn pot is a good replacement. It would be better if the set-screw that holds the igniter in place was on the side of the burn pot stem, instead of on the side of the stem. For ME, the pot would have been easier to install if that were the case. But, overall the product was installable and it works.
