I bought this machine to replace my previous laminator of 12+ years. This machine costs much less than the name brands and performs great! I particularly like the heat assist because it totally eliminates the "silvering" effect and produces a beautiful lamination. Also, the take-up reel is a great feature that my last machine lacked. I added the cutter option (slitter) to my 55" purchase, but haven't used it yet. I expect to use it on my larger contour-cut prints because my vinyl cutter will only accept a 53" media width and I print on 54" vinyl. So, I will print a maximum of around 48" to be contour cut (to allow for the registration marks) and then slit an inch off when laminating. This should save time and effort on those jobs. Well-built, sturdy machine! I highly recommend!

Product had standard truck shipping across the country. Arrived in a well built crate. You do have to assemble the legs and the machine is extremely heavy but is exactly what it was supposed to be. 10/10 would recommend for the price point
