Easy Operation:
Step 1: Solder the IC socket to the PCB circuit board.
Step 2: Insert the chip into the IC socket, finish.
The IC socket is the carrier between the chip and the PCB circuit board, the chip can be pulled and inserted directly without soldering to the PCB board.
Noted:
The spacing and line spacing of the connector holes must be the same as the spacing and line spacing of the chip pins.
Advantage:
When you need to install or replace the chip, directly remove the connection between the IC socket and chip, achieving the effect of saving IC cost and time.

DO NOT BUY!!! Arrived in unusable condition. Bent, broken and missing pins on 19 of the 24. The other 5 could barely be salvaged.

Inexpensive, sure - but these are very "cheap". Nearly every socket requires pin straightening, at least two in my box were crushed flat. The poor packaging may be the cause of the bends, but the very soft metal used is the root cause.
