Amazing!!! I have two fiddle players and practice time was like having a fiddle contest in my brain! The sound is still perfect, just quieter. I can actually focus on what I’m doing! I bought one, the kids used it once and I immediately bout another one!!!! Must have for any parent with fiddle playing kiddos. Bonus if you have close neighbors or live in an appartment!

I bought this for my children. It helps to muffle the sound as planned which is great for before school practices in our townhome. I feel that it sometimes changes the sound of the notes a little. I am not sure if it is related to where my kids place it on the violin.

It makes a great difference. We use it for our daughter on a 3/4 violin and it is perfect. Definitely lowers sound.

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und sie wurde mit der normalen Post zugestellt. Ich bin mit dem Dämpfer zufrieden, weil Ton und Lautstärke gedämpft werden, nicht aber die Klangqualität zu sehr leidet. Vor dem Aufsetzen auf den Steg muss man den Schlitz etwas weiten, weil die Zinken sehr eng beieinander liegen, es ist eben Gummi. Dann kann man aber den Dämpfer aber problemlos aufsetzen.
