I did not have the recommended two people to build my item, it took me much longer then the estimated time. This lady when step by step and it looks beautiful! Now the drawback...the real wood holes on tops of the side shelves the holes were too tight. I had to pound the locking nut into the hole, then it really didn't want to turn to lock onto the pins. I have yet to plug the heater into the wall, because I am slowly dismantling the furniture piece that was in that spot, with all the TV stereo wires so it all functions. I would recommend this piece to anyone from nice it turned out!

We bought this for our bedroom. It really looks good in there and we enjoy the heat. Very nice material.

The two ends broke on me. I reached out to the company and they have not contacted me as of yet and that's been a few months so I guess it's safe to say they don't intend to make the wrong right. The top part of each end broke, so I have them just sitting on top. This cost to much for that and if it weren't costly I would have sent it back. However, I will never buy anything else from this company and I will make sure ALL family members and friends follow suit.

The fireplace is well-made and fairly easy to put together. It begins to heat the room as soon as you turn it on. It is the perfect height to hide cords for a wall-mounted tv.

I have done a lot of assembling of kits like this lately and I will tell you that none of them are done as well as this (one other was very close). Those shafts you usually screw in for kits like this that have a locking piece in the attaching board...well for these you don't just screw those into cheap particle board. Each of these are threading into a threaded insert which is already in the wood and painted over.There is also a few redundancies in place. You will attach them with one of these locking items and then also there will be an L bracket as well. This really helps with the strength of this once built. I have done many of these types of things in my life and while it does take some time to put it together, you will appreciate it a decade or more later when it is as solid as first built. This took be a little under 3 hours to do it myself.I really have only two complaints about this...and one is just my style. I replaced the handles with Black handles which match what I have put in the house...and because I felt Black would look better on this than the chrome ones that it came with...but this is a me thing. The other complaint I had was with the installation of the fireplace. The instructions say to use the hardware provided with the actual fireplace unit (Box 3)...but there was no instructions in the fireplace box or the Entertainment center boxes on how to actually install it. I think I figured it out and what I did is indeed solid...but I also just renovated half my house and hand built my own cabinets/doors so I am not your run of the mill kit buyer.For me and someone at my level I still would give this 5 or more stars though as it looks so great and is so structurally sound. Those things make it well worth buying and assembling versus building myself.

Exactly as the picture, runs small, I wish it was bigger. Fire seatings are great!Looks a bit cheap, not the value for the money I feel like it should be cheaper since it looks a bit cheap, color is good, heat works, took over 2 hours to assemble since it was missing some things and part broke easily.

Easy to assemble, even though it did take a few hours to do so. Instructions are easy to follow. Except, when installing the fireplace, it doesn't explain where to put the support bracket. I had to play around with it to figure that out. Very sturdy! Very heavy! Assemble near the area you plan to place it. There were a few areas where the paint was chipped and there was a small ding. Nothing too bad though.

I was worried about even purchasing this in the first place because of all the poor reviews about missing parts, no directions, etc. However, I really wanted this specific console because of the larger size and being a perfect match to other cabinets in my home, so I took a chance. All three boxes arrived at the same time the day after I placed my order! Additionally, all of the pieces and directions were included. There are some minor defects like a crack in the paint in the front face of the center base and a couple dings, but it’s overall good quality and the console feels sturdy. There are a lot of pieces to put together, but that’s why the price is so reasonable. Everything else that’s similar is at least double in price. The cabinet doors are soft close ones, and the directions were easy to follow, but it’s a long tedious process to get it assembled. Even so, I’m very happy that everything worked out this well!
