while this is my first time i have put strings on a violin (i have put them on guitar and uke), i don't think one should brake while i'm tuning it the second day. i'm spending a little more on my next set and hoping i have better luck.

They come in a very generic package, but don't let that fool you. These strings are great. I strung my violin and the sound was great! I will buy again since I'm just learning and don't need high dollar strings right now. Highly recommended.

I ordered these because my 'G' string broke, and no sooner did i replace it did I have an accident with the A string by tightening it too hard instead of the one I was trying to tune.
