it has one job, to lock into the magazine stay. Doesn't do that. Don't buy this for an AR build.

Must have if you like to work on AR's. For the price, it's worth buying multiples.

It fits your standard milspec lowers OK, but the Aero M4E1 has a flared magwell which prevent the vice block from being able to be seated fully. The mag vice block is well made but it’s a bit undersized resulting in a lot of play side to side and forward to back. If you’re doing some basic work, it should be fine but I would advise against anything requiring a lot of torque like a barrel nut or muzzle device. Frankly, this type of vice block isn’t best for those things anyway.

Well, it's sturdy for sure. It could be great. However, it is loose. Very loose. Mag catch can't even engage to this block. If you want to hold your lower on a vice, this is plenty. But, if you want to do any extensive work, don't do it with it.

Very loose fitting. Won't lock into mag release. Will not even attempt to use for fear it will damage lower recever.
