They worked by connecting them upper and lower part of metal panel. Putting L screws into post and setting them on L screws and now we have easy open and close gate.

We use these on farm gates around our place. They are heavy duty hot dipped galvanized steel intended for outdoor use. We had one really heavy 10' chain link industrial gate that we had been given that needed hardware to hang it. These did the job, and they'll last for nearly forever! They came with the nuts and bolts needed for installation, so putting them to use was quick and easy.All the seller's information and photos are accurate, and the price is competitive to the Big Box stores. You can hardly go wrong buying these if they meet your needs.

We have goats fenced in our backyard and had been using a chain to keep the gate closed. It really wasn't doing a good enough job of keeping the very small goats inside as there was a little bit of give. These hinges have solved our problem and I wish I had thought of this as a solution sooner. They were easy to install and now we don't have to worry about any of the goats getting out and eating things they shouldn't be eating or getting lost.
