I bought this for a DIY bio filter for my new 1600 gallon (small) pond and it was way to strong which is a good thing because I'm going to use it for my water fall. This thing kicks out serious water and I have not had any issues with it straight out of the box. A+ I will be buying a smaller unit from this manufacture for my bio filter.

Used it to make a filter for my fish pond. I bought the 1/5 hp. It's been running 12 hours a day since I bought it with no problems

I have an assortment of pumps for various applications up to 12 HP. But I've used a submersible like this one for minor liquid transfer. When the pump I've used for many years finally gave out, I chose this one because of price and advertised capacity. I was not disappointed. Last week I had to flush my home boiler system several times. I drained the system to a 24 gallon tub, pumped through about 130' of 5/8 hose with about total 4 feet of lift. Each time I filled the tub, it took less than 4 minutes to drain. Obviously a larger and shorter hose would much improve this especially if you did not have to lift.

Well-made works great will pump water with garden hose over 100 feet as long as it's a flat distance.

When I opened the box there was oil coming out of the bottom of the pump.I used the pump .Seems to work fine. Cheapest pump I could find. I use it to water my plants from a rain barrel.

They sent me a pump that did not work and had grease on it, looks like it was returned and they resent it back out. Didn't even power on and blew a fuse in the circuit of the plug on the deck. Very disappointed
