Easy to install and set up.Everything functions smoothly and the lock is sturdy. This is a replacement for a similar lock which I added a couple years ago that didn't fare so well after regular use. This one seems to be made much better than my last one.I like that it includes keys "just in case".

This lock works just as advertised! The fingerprint reader is the best...easy to set and use. It comes incredibly well-packed, and you can tell the quality right out of the box. It's nice having multiple ways to lock/unlock the door, and making it unique makes me feel much safer than the standard lock where seemingly everyone's key works!Pretty easy to install, but the instructions need to be updated a bit. The batteries don't come installed and setting the code and fingerprint is a little different than described in the instructions, but it's actually easier. The reset button, as it's referred to in the manual, is actually labeled "settings", not a huge deal, but thought I'd mention it.I have a Keystone Cougar (doesn't everyone?) with the standard door handle/lock and this unit fit just fine into the cutout.The reason I'm dinging a star is because the handle to pull the door closed from inside is difficult to use. If your door closes a little hard (like mine), beware that it's hard to get a good grip on the inside handle (it's also where the batteries are installed), as it doesn't protrude like the regular ones.

This lock set is metal and heavy duty. The construction is well done and tight. It fits the standard cutout on my trailer door just fine. Installation is straight forward with four screws holding the assembly in the door. If your door is standard, you shouldn't have to do any modifications, but every case may be a bit different. The size of the inside latch piece is bigger than the one I replaced. Fortunately, it didn't interfere with the screen door , but it was close. I suggest measuring both the outside lock plate and the inside one before you remove your original lock. While the holes may be standard, placement of other hardware on the door varies between units and may interfere with this lock. It comes with a new strike plate you can use if you wish. If your old one fits well (like mine) you can forego this. Programming entry codes was without issue, but I do recommend placing the instructions (or a copy) in a safe place. The fingerprint function works, but I always seem to have a bit of hard time with these scanners. They are a bit hit or miss with my finger, so I can usually enter a code faster. It is nice that 4 keys are provided. They are a type that I can't get locally. This keyless entry lock makes it easier when camping at the beach or river as I don't have to carry a key into the water.

This is a really nice RV replacement door latch. It has all the feature you'll ever want. It can be locked/unlocked with keys, a code you enter from the external keypad or via your memorize finger print. Comes with (4) keys, (4) AA batteries and the latch and strike hardware you will need to install it. Great quality and I'm looking forward to the convenience of not having to carry keys with me when out camping. Bonus is there is a dead-bolt latch on the inside of the latch that defeats any method of unlocking or entering. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
