It took me a minute to figure out how the top attached to the clip (the balls on the chain are the right size, so that you can simply slip the chain into the narrow end, to set the length of chain you want), and then it was all good. The chain is metal and sturdy. I liked the clips on both ends. There were two, in case I was an idiot and broke one, which, while unlikely, wouldn’t have been out of character. Still the toilet now flushes. Victory.
