Picked this up to wrap a few pieces of interior trim on my car that were fading and peeling. Nice packaging and feels quality in the hand, has a very nice matte look and feel. Straight off the roll it was a bit stiff (which is totally normal for quality wrap) but loosened up instantly once I got the heat gun near it. Good adhesion with zero bubbling, end result is awesome, I love the look of the carbon fiber pattern. Great vinyl and easy to put on, made a big difference in the look of the car.

Bought my husbands dodge charger used so it’s has some paint wearing off here and there. Used this to cover some of the patches and it looks amazing. No issues so far and it looks pretty sleek. Love the pattern.

Using this vinyl is like other high-quality options. Apply enough heat for proper stretching. I might try a gloss finish next, but I usually prefer matte. The air-release adhesive with micro channels helps remove bubbles, and you can peel it off and reposition it if necessary. It can handle moderate heat for curves, but excessive heat or stretching may distort the carbon pattern and weaken the adhesive, which is crucial for beginners with carbon fiber vinyl or complex curves.Since there’s no protective film, use a padded applicator to avoid scratches during installation. A standard plastic applicator could damage the 3D carbon design.

The 3D carbon fiber pattern on this vinyl looks great! It gives the surface that it's applied to depth and lots of character when the light hits it at various angles. The air-release adhesive (micro channels in the adhesive layer) makes the vinyl very easy to install with no bubbles, and can be peeled/reapplied to make adjustments during installation. It handles a moderate amount of heat to aid in conforming to curves. But if too much heat is applied, or the vinyl is stretched too much, the carbon pattern will get deformed (looks unnatural) and the adhesive bond can be weakened. Keep this in mind if you've never worked with carbon fiber patterned vinyl, or had to work around complex curved surfaces. There is no clear film over the vinyl to protect it from scratches during installation, so you have to be careful and use a padded applicator when pressing and rubbing on it. Using a plain plastic applicator can leave scratches and scuffs in the 3D carbon pattern. This small roll was the perfect size we needed for a dashboard project without a lot of waste. But the roll arrived shipped with no protective covering other than a thin cellophane wrapping. One end of the vinyl roll had some creases from shipping - luckily those were removed with a bit of heat during installation. The manufacturer should encase the cellophane-wrapped vinyl within a thicker cardboard tube to prevent this kind of damage. I knocked one star off this review because of the poor packaging.PROS:- Made well- Excellent pattern- Easy to installCONS:- No protective covering

This was super easy to use and the quality is absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely a good value for the money and I can’t stress this enough but the adhesive is amazing and the quality/texture is so beautiful.

I've ordered VVIVID vinyl wraps before in other "colors" but this one is probably my favorite. Not only does it look like dry carbon but it kinda feels like it too. It's not just a "picture" printed on vinyl. It actually has some texture to it which makes it feel high quality. Installation of this vinyl is typical of most decent ones. You just need to make sure you apply enough heat so that it can stretch. I'll probably try gloss next but I quite like the matte one.

very important to watch a couple videos on how to use this stuff properly and make sure you use a heat gun and practice on something small first! I am super happy with the VViViD vinyl automotive wrap! This has to be one of the highest quality automotive wraps out there and can bend around some pretty extreme curves and bends! I ap very impressed with the quality and durability of their products and will only buy VViViD wrap products for any of the cars or interior parts I wrap in the future!

This review is for item: "VViViD+ Ultra Matte 3D Dry Black Carbon Fiber (1ft x 5ft)"I've never used a vinyl wrap before because I've read so many horror stories about the difficulty of doing a clean install. After reading several recommendations, I decided to try VViViD's product and was not disappointed. I was able to wrap a couple of test boards without difficulty, which has encouraged me to attempt to wrap the bodies of my RC cars. The contour of the bodies is MUCH more difficult, but I can tell that if this product wasn't high quality, it wouldn't have looked as "ok" as it did, for a first-time user!5/5 Stars from me! Will be ordering again as I build my skills and start wrapping all of my toys!
