These are great flat discs that gets the job done without going through every disc you have. I would say they are equal in quality to those sold at tractor supply and slightly superior in quality to those sold at harbor freight.

Being a woodworker, I don't get to use my angle grinder or flap discs all that often. They do come in handy for cleaning up power carving or doing some minor shaping, but they're really designed for metal.I did have an opportunity to use these on an old cast iron pan that had lost its seasoning and begun to rust. Not only did these clean up the pan, they actually improved the surface quite considerably. What was once a rough, pebbled surface is now shiny and smooth. It's pretty crazy how your nose picks up that weird tangy metal smell at almost the instant the flap disc hits the iron. Lesson learned. You'll definitely want to use a respirator and goggles with these.I can't speak towards the longevity because I have yet to wear one out, but I can say that I used to get my flap discs from the cheapo tools place (you know the one) and these seem to outperform those. Per dollar spent, you're getting a great value here. Plus, they're purple. How can you not like purple?

Cuts through paint, rust, wood, plastic, and metal with minimal ware. Have gotten some work done, will get more done, I'm happy. If these exist in the future when I need more I will buy again.

Good pack of flap discs for angle grinders. At $1.15 each you can't really go wrong and I won't complain if they don't last quite as long as one that costs 4-5X at the hardware store. For comparison, the cheapest individual discs from HF are just under $3/ea so these are definitely a great value. Good selection of grits and for a multi-purpose pack.

I wanted to try these flap discs on some structural logs I’m installing in my cabin. Specifically, I wanted to try making flat spots on the logs that were wide enough to be able to butt plywood sheets together. These discs are phenomenal for the task.At 4”, these flap discs are a little smaller than the standard size of 4 ½”, but they fit my grinder’s 5/8” spindle without issue. They run smoothly, without much vibration, and they’re a bit smaller worked for my purposes, allowing me a bit more wiggle room in tight places. The 40 and 60 grits tore through the pine logs I had, completing the task much faster than I anticipated. I tried to be conscious of heat build-up so as not to bake the dust into the grit, but overheating never became an issue and the discs lasted longer than other off-brand flap discs I’ve owned.I have some other wood projects that require shaping and I’m looking forward to trying these discs out some more. At a little more than $1.50 each, I have nothing but praise for these flap discs from WA GRINDER.

We always have concerns about friction heat buildup when sanding stainless steel; these flap discs make quick work of sanding, and seem to run cooler than our regular black flap discs. We don't usually keep all four grits on hand, usually just #40 and #80, but this set has us reconsidering keeping #120 on hand as well. Makes quick work of mild and stainless steel, and the #120 does leave a nice surface. The lower grits are great for metal prep, just be careful because pre-weld cleanup can quickly become reshaping if you don't pay attention; these really pull material fast so a light touch goes a long way. Price was good, and with the wear we are observing, these look like they will last long, so good value.

I always seem to be in the middle of a project and my flap wheel glazes over, wears out or otherwise just won't cut the mustard any longer. So, rather than buying them piecemeal, I figured getting a set with more would save me some aggravation. I like that this set comes with a variety of grits, from pretty darn coarse to about as fine as you'd ever want for a flap wheel. It would have been nice to have more than two of the 120 grit, but I suppose by the time you get to needing that, you shouldn't be doing a lot of heavy grinding. These flap wheels seem as well constructed as any other flap wheels I've purchased and used. And they're a good bit more economical than buying flap wheels at the big box store (or even the HF tool store known for cheap prices). Since I view flap wheels as a short-lived consumable, I have no reservations about these given their price and value.

These are the best 4" flap discs I've ever used. I usually use my 4.5" grinders with similar style wheels, but now I have them for my little 4" grinder as well. The grit feels sharp from the touch, and seems to hold up ok to the heat. It's not as good as the 3m cubitron stuff, but it's a fraction of the price. This is probably a better deal overall considering the quantity in this package.I'm using it to grind off plasma cutting dross that didn't chip off, and welds. Like most flap discs, it's slow against hot rolled mild steel's mill scale. (For that stuff I dip it in vinegar for a day and it wipes off, more efficient than using up flap wheels and it doesn't eat up the surface unevenly)I haven't tried it on aluminum yet, but I imagine it would gum up due to the speed of the angle grinder.
