Exhaust flanges are never straight. IF you have this type and never want it to leak you need to use 2 of these gaskets with high temp red rtv all the way around the outside of the flange. Then tighten the bolts as tight as you can get em with a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar. Never had an issue am after that.

Did the job. Made the seal. However, I was disappointed when I opened the box to find it was folded twice at some point. I noticed another review had the same situation. Still a better gasket than the one I took off the exhaust.

Tough job to replace this beast but if you've got a mind to, you can do it..Top tips:Heat the nuts up and remove if you can, the studs may be captive like wheel studs and can be a bear to remove.If just bolts it's a lot easier, mine wasn't.Clean the HECK out of the mating surface, use sand paper, scraper, hammer/chisel, beaver teeth, whatever it takes to get a good smooth surface, then the gasket will seal correctly.I did it in winter on cardboard so you can too!

These appear to be good quality gaskets. However, the two I received had at some point been folded. The gaskets were laid flat in the box I received so I don't know when the folding occurred. One of them broke when removed from the package because the folding had broken the metal core. Since my truck was disassembled when this happened I was forced to rely on high temp RTV to repair the damage. It has been a couple of weeks and it seems to be holding.Update: Every one of these gaskets has burned out. Found these Remflex gaskets. Your pipes will melt before these burn out.
