Our mailbox is placed on the southern side of our house which gets the brunt of our wind and weather. I have had this mounted for a short time now and so far so good. I love that It saves my time by allowing me to check if there is mail before opening. The only downside is, as others have mentioned, some larger envelopes won't fit. But this is mostly a non issue for me. I rarely need larger envelopes these days and if is scheduled to come, I'll leave a note for the postman with instructions.

Just as the post described it. The mailbox is durable and great quality. It was easy to put up. Now it’s been a few months since the purchase, it’s been through snow and sunshine, and it looks brand new. It’s water resistant…even through stormy/windy snow storms my mail is dry when I get it. The hinge for the lid is still easy to flip and functional. It was worth the purchase.

Easy to install, looks nice on wall. Multiple numbers go on, the dark numbers is nice. I join it quality. 5 entrants big enough of letters magazines is nice.

While I don't imagine that this mailbox would put up much of a fight against a determined thief, I am not at all concerned because I plan on using it as a dropbox near my front door where it will be completely safe.The steel measures about 57mm in thickness, which would make it 18 gauge, and feels rather substantial for what it is. The overall quality feels very good, with a decent keyed lock that feels solid and good hinges on both the door and the flap.Although it doesn't claim postmaster approval, this is the design that is approved by postmasters, and as such there should be no problem getting USPS to deliver mail to this box.As I said, I don't think it would be difficult for a thief to force this box open, but the truth is that there are very few mailboxes that can actually stop a determined thief with a prybar, and those are expensive and I haven't seen them in this wall mount style. For my purposes this mailbox is perfect, as it should be for most who are looking for this style mailbox.The truth is that most locked mailboxes are serving the purpose of keeping snooping neighbors out of ones business and preventing petty theft. I tried dropping an envelope in the box and seeing if I could "fish" it out. Many locking mailboxes are ridiculously easy to simply pull items back out, serving more as a psychological deterrent than anything. But while I was able to retrieve the envelope after deposit, it wasn't without some difficulty, and it was only possible if it fell in such a way that I could reach the top edge with my finger tips. That was with a 9-1/2" envelope, anything smaller would likely be impossible without breaking into the box. And that's all I really want to prevent. Like I said, if someone is willing to break or damage the box to get in, there is really nothing that can keep them out.The other details on the box are good too. The mounting holes in the back of the box are stamped in such a way as to deter the entry of water, and I would imagine that with the careful application of some silicone caulk this could be made completely waterproof, even if placed in direct rain. Further, there are two small weep holes at the bottom of the box so that if water does get inside it will quickly drain out.The only thing that wasn't perfect, though I find it more humorous than anything, is that I received the box with the door locked, and the keys inside (as you can see in the picture). So I got to play a little game of turning the box upside down and shaking it until the keys fell out. It doesn't really matter, but in the past I've seen the keys taped or zip tied to the exterior of locking mailboxes, which is a nice touch.This is a great wall mounted security mailbox, especially for the price. I recommend it.

Mail box is quite thin and only suitable for letters,But does the job. Large newspapers or what not will not fit in hereBut normal sized letters and perhaps larger letters will.It is made of spot welded thin gauge steel, there were some blemishes in finishSame combo lock as many boxes, low security.Does come with 3x of 0-9 numbers which is nice.

This mailbox has a lot going for it:*Mail gets dropped in through a slot on the mailbox's face, so it's more protected from inclement weather.*It locks and comes with two keys to prevent theft. (We'll be making a copy of a third key, just to be extra cautious.)*Three small windows on the front let you easily see if there’s mail inside.*It includes the installation hardware as well as two zip ties and instructions.*It includes reflective adhesive numbers so you can put your address on the front.*It's powder-coated, sturdy and appears durable.*It's matte black and looks sleek and modern.What some might deem issues:*While perfect for standard mail, it won’t accommodate larger items like oversized Amazon envelopes. They'll need to be placed elsewhere.*There's a red plastic flag that can be put up. In my world that means there's outgoing mail for the mail carrier to pick up, but there's nowhere to leave outgoing mail on this box. For others that flag standing up might mean *they* have incoming mail to pick up but I wonder if a busy mail carrier would even notice the flag, let alone take the time to stand it up. Maybe?Those are just a couple of points others might consider. For me, this is a great mailbox and I recommend it!
