Nylon (PA) - Hydrophilic
Nylon membrane filters are hydrophilic, flexible, tear-resistant, and autoclavable. They are resistant to a range of organic solvents and suitable for use with high pH samples. Nylon binds proteins. Unsuitable for acidic solutions. pH range ~3-14.

i bought this for my cavitron. One side twist locks in, the other is a friction fitting. Probably works well for what it is designed for, but NOT for a cavitron. The non locking, friction, side, can pop off an leak everywhere
