High quality fit and finish. I use them all the time on my lathe.

After looking at all the fabulous reviews on these toolholders and the price, I just had to give them a try. First, I'll admit I'm only a beginning machinist with limited experience but I can recognize poor attention to detail. The two holders I received had spots that looked like they were made on a belt-sander. The dovetail that fits the toolpost is out of spec as they hang up when putting them on and taking them off. Instead of them slipping easily off the toolpost when the release handle is fully counter-clockwise, I have to rotate the handle clockwise a few degrees to get the holder to release. The Shars I bought here and Tormach holders that came with my mini-lathe have superior finishes and glide on and off the toolpost with ease. 5 stars for Amazon's return policy.

I bought three of these. Of the twelve grub screws (four per holder) four are of low quality and do not fit very well. How the holder fits and mates with my OXA tool post (LittleMachineShop part number 3112) is good.

I originally bought 4 of these as I have gotten bitten before by wrong size. To my delight, these fit perfectly and I haven't had any problems with them. In fact, I just ordered 4 more.

Overall the product quality is decent these are not US made though but for the price it can’t be beat did have a question with customer service they were great and quick to contact me, this fits the OXA Quick change tool post the fit is fairly tight but works on mine overall would buy from this seller again.

First off, it fits my LLDSIMEX tool post perfectly. The final "better" star is that the bottom of the tool channel has a slight undercut on the inside corner so the tool body can go flush with the back of the slot, a significant improvement. This is a running change as the identical part purchased 5 days earlier still had the radius and would have rated 4 stars. One problem with China sourcing is that it is impossible to identify the supply channel factory. For instance from the factory or machine that made the LLDSIMEX parts and a couple of no-name parts from last year are 0.790 +/- 0.002 wide and 1.1015 +/- 0.0005 high. Hard to believe that's two different factories. This part along with same one from five days ago and the Accusize version are about 0.005 taller so I suspect a different source. Be careful as there is another source ( 0.755 wide and 1.087 high) that is selling cheaper pairs. They have a 45 degree saw-cut into the channel bottom which appears to substantially weaken the part but more importantly the dovetail is cut too deep and they doesn't work with my tool post.

Works well. Cheap enough to get six or so and save yourself some time on toolchanges.
