Holding up quite well and cuts well too. Recommended.

Whiteside makes some of the gest bits and is my go-to brand, especially when they are as competitively priced as this one. Use this bit as soon as I opened the box and got it installed in one of my routers and it worked flawlessly. Cut about thirty feet of 1/2" x 1/2" grooves (in two passes) in some quarter sawn red oak without any issues and with little effort. Recommended.

I am gradually changing over my router bits to Whiteside. They are practically all I will purchase now.

Used for cutting insets for speaker drivers in cabinet-grade plywood. Most bits leave some tear-out when doing this, but these cut perfectly clean insets. These also cut nice clean rabbets.I have a number of Whiteside bits, and they are so worth the money.

I know it’s been said West side is the best side but these bits are the best.

Great router bit. I have been using Freud bits because they are sold at the local big box store. As those wear out I will probably add more Whiteside bits to the collection. I normally try to buy the best tool available rather than worry about country of origin but was happy to see that they are made in the USA.

I am a woodworking hobbyist with many years and many projects behind me. I have tried many different manufactures over the years: Freud, Amana, Bosch .. and cheapies like Sears. While some of the better names do make very good bits, I found the Whiteside superior. Right out of the box they are very sharp, amount (size) of carbide is big (allows more sharpening cycles), the quality carbide means they stay sharper longer; no chatter and burn marks are very rare. Also unlike some bits the PN marking is easy to read. If they get mixed up (happens to me all the time despite my organized storage system) it is very easy to find the ¾ vs. the 23/32 straight bit. They may be a little more expensive but it is definitely worth it. If you haven't tried Whiteside I encourage you to try them and put it through its paces. You might not notice a difference against one of the other better brands right away, but over time I bet you too will be hooked.
