The second picture shows one unbaked and one baked. The colors got slightly paler after baking but not as much as I expected.I made a double batch of sugar cookies, split the dough into four and used 6 drops of color per section. I wanted the cookies paler because Easter (and actually wish I'd done even paler than this).The gel is less gellike and more of a thick liquid. It was easy to count out the drops. They had no flavor impact on my cookies.I'm totally happy with these.

Good value. Minor problem. Ours was shipped in a box without packing. The item bounced around in the box, which likely loosened the caps. One cap was off, 2 were on, but at an angle, and 1 was loose. Some gel leaked, but not enough for a refund, just enough to make a small mess. Hope the seller can fix this in the future for others that buy this. My only loss is a few of drops of food coloring gel and colorful fingers for a few days! :)
