I was not very attentive to the description of how this interactive globe works, thought it would have a stylus to highlight areas and information on the countries but it uses a phone app.

I purchased this "interactive" globe as a Christmas present only to discover in order to download the app, you have to delete ALL of your apps!!! I went online to find out why this would be, and this is what I found: "If 'Atlas Click World' is asking you to remove all your apps, it's likely a malicious software or a scam attempting to gain access to your device by making you delete important applications, potentially leaving your system vulnerable. Do not follow this instruction and immediately remove or block 'Atlas Click World' from your device; it is crucial to protect your system from such threats." No one in their right mind would delete all their apps, so it's obvious this is a scam rendering this globe, as advertised, NON-INTERACTIVE. When I brought this to Amazon's attention, their only response was for me to return the item for a refund. It's a Christmas gift!!! They wouldn't even entertain a partial refund saying it wasn't one of their options. How ridiculous. Someone within the corporation could in fact do that, but they are too greedy. So beware of their false advertising and potentially allowing third world countries (this one is apparently from Korea?) to access personal and valuable information if you follow the app installation instructions, which makes them no better than the scammers since they have been notified of the problem.

I bought this for my daughter on Amazon a few Xmas's ago. It still operates but this is not a Smart Globe. It does have nice global features and we enjoy using the constellation glow as a nightlight but this is NOT A SMART anything.

It lights beautifully but is not really bright. Just right. It comes with games that are fun for kids and I love that as it get dark the globe changes gradually from the earth to the stars. I admit I am an adult and I got it for myself, but I absolutely love it. I would give it as a gift for sure.

I bought this globe because it seemed like a good addition to my room. However, as I received the globe, I realized that there was much more to it than just a normal globe. It has wondrous full LED lighting that doesn't seem to just be a bulb, moreover a strip that runs inside the globe. It makes a wonderful decorative piece to any room that seems a little boring, and it will give the room tons of flavor. It comes with cool special goodies, like stickers of the flags of the world, and an amazing poster of all the constellations in their full glory. It is amazingly high quality and seems that a lot of effort went into making this globe. It also is available with an app, because it is 2018 and everything should have an app. The app is aesthetically pleasing and has a very user-friendly interface. I'd recommend this to anyone in the market for an extremely high-quality globe that is also incredibly interesting and it'll give you lots of enjoyment exploring the constellations.

I like this globe because the details are very clear - a lot of good, clear detail on this globe without it looking too crowded. When I pulled it out of the box, I was surprised at how light it was. I was thinking it might be top heavy but I was pleasantly surprised that it stands firmly on its base. Speaking of which, I especially like the nice wood base. It would be a nice addition to any room decor. Finally, I know you are dying to read about the lighting feature of this globe - I was wondering how the constellations would show through all the map details, but when I turned the room light off and turned the constellation lights on, seeing the constellations were no problem at all. The lights are also quite entertaining. I think children could spend good amount of time learning about geography and have fun at the same time! Our 6 year old was excited to see this globe. As for the app, it was very easy to use, with lots of interesting facts about the places that you take a picture of on the globe. The app was simple but interesting enough that my husband got carried away exploring countries on the app that he forgot about the globe!

I purchased this illuminated globe for my 8 year old daughter. Surprisingly, my 5 year old and my 3 year old is also enjoying this educational toy.The clarity of the letters written on the globe and the quality is beyond what I had expected.Color of the globe is bright and the illuminating lights are great for the dark. It has 88 constellations that illuminate in the dark. I didn’t even know there was that many!This was a great hit during my 8 year old daughter’s semi sleep over party.It’s a perfect size to leave on a bookshelf or on top of a fireplace.It’s light enough to move around from room to room.Also, the App feature is definitely a plus. The App supports 4 different languages-English, Spanish, Korean and Chinese.Overall, a great education toy.I would highly recommend this to parents and grandparents that want to gift their child a toy that is also educational.This would make a great Christmas gift that parents will enjoy as well.
