The SECOTAN bat is a beautiful bat, perfectly smooth with no noticeable imperfections. Weight is great. As I'm using it just to train my arms and swing I can't comment on durability, but for my training purposes its perfect.

short bats are great training aids and this seems well made. It's real wood but not too heavy to cause any issues. Overall feel and balance are good for the purpose as a training aid. Very happy with this product.

While I am a avid baseball fan, I haven’t been able to play for some time. However, as things get better this bat should help as it looks great, feels light yet durable and a good size to it. In the meantime though, this also functions as a nice security feature without being too obvious.

This is a no nonsense solid, short, and heavy bat. I got it in the black finish and it looks great. Almost like the look of the plastic ones but this is sold wood. You can functionaly use this for training, sport, or defense. I installed a grip onto mine (sold separately) and it's absolutely perfect. I've been holding it and swinging it around for over an hour.As you can see in my photo it comes wrapped in plastic. The plastic has their logo on it as a sticker. The white logo is not directly on the bat. The only logo actually on the bat is etched into the bottom handle end. It's painted black. The price was also right. I've been researching small heavy bats for a few months. Recommended!

This Secotan bat is nicer than any wooden bat I've held before, although I'll admit I'm not a serious baseball person. Nice matte/satin finish and super solid. This one is actually going to serve as a backup security system for our new house and installation was easy - just lean it up against the wall near the door!

This bat reminds me more of when I was a kid and all bats were wood. This one is a good length for me but was a little heavier than I expected. Which isn't a negative, the bat was just surprisingly heavy. It is a very nice looking bat and well balanced. It's also very smooth. I would recommend using gloves or wrapping with tape for a better grip.

This is a solid bat. This is not some light weight toy bat that could snap into when you strike something. I don't know if it's painted or what I have not scratched the surface. So, that may be it's weakest characteristic. Otherwise, I think it's a solid tool for whatever you want to use it as.
