Can you say "Happy Camper"? Here's what I love:These hold up! Note the age of this purchase and I just ordered another one because I am SO Happy!Now, keep in mind, I live in the PNW. In addition, I am horrible about bringing things in, so these amazing stands...well, they have been outside since...okay, purchase...and THEY ARE STILL FABULOUS...I am not recommending this. Bad me for leaving them out...wretched customer but THEY STILL ARE FANTASTIC!They have this great low profile for all sorts of tables, and they still have a long enough stem-thing so the silly umbrella (which I "may" have also possibly forgotten to bring in...) doesn't come flying over the house like something out of The Wizard of Oz...not that I would ever let that happen...End of story; buy these. You will thank me.

I read the reviews before purchasing, especially the one star reviews. The common complaint was that this was not sturdy, or heavy enough, or that it became loose. All not true. It is very heavy, so much so that assembly is a bit of a task. And the only way it is ever going to get loose is if a person failed to tighten the base during assembly. This is far better than the old one I had, and I am very pleased,

This umbrella stand is perfect! It's heavy, was easy to put together and can accommodate different size market umbrella poles. It also arrived quickly! Compared to other stands out there, this is the best deal!!
