The handle and the bell are different alloy materials. The bell part is a nice cast, the handle is a very poor quality cast. I have a vajra of the same size from another company that is intricate and beautiful.

This bell is strong and sturdy and has lovely engraved designs on it. The sound is beautiful and its moderate tone lingers in the air. I use it as a meditation instrument and it provides a peaceful time for prayer and reflection. Highly recommended.

Después de leer las opiniones quedé convencida de hacer la compra. La campana está bellísima, su sonido es hermoso; el material excelente y su color la hace ver cómo un artículo antiguo pero muy bonito. La tengo de decoración, deseaba tener una hasta que la encontré El producto llegó en tiempo estimado y en buenas condiciones. La recomiendo ampliamente.

As expected from the picture mostly. Pretty as an ornament or used before meditation. The bell tone is clear and calming. One star knocked off because either the handle or the bell's threads were damaged and thus could not screw them together completely. (I bought a larger version of this bell as a gift and didn't have that problem.)
