This is an old fashioned manual electric timer. It does exactly what it should, and I feel confident it's working and keeping my leopard gecko's light source on a good timer.It's easy to set up, and the instructions helped. If you're not sure how it works, they make it pretty clear. It was easier to follow than the Christmas light timers I've used before thanks to the detailed directions.

I love the fact ed that I font have to remember to turn off and one the lights I'm the cage makes my life more easy in the morning and at night you may want to look up a tutorial on how to set the time but once you get it it's easy

Not easy to set. Goes on and off when it wants randomly. Not happy with it at all. Will be buying a digital timer to replace this one ASAP.I do NOT recommend this timer to anyone.

I am so excited that this time works so well and is simple to use once you understand instructions, that I will get to sleep in on Christmas and Summer holidays now. Don't have to wake early to turn on the lights, can pass out early without worry of my pet.

It does what is says. Nothing more or less. There are cheaper ones, but I bought this one just because it was a last minute add-on to go with my indoor grow light. My herbs were getting burned and I kept forgetting to turn the light off.

I got this for the heat lamp for my Russian tortoise. I work a lot and am at school throughout the day...but I refuse to sleep with such a bright light on, so I got this guy. It is really easy to use and set up! You can also simply turn the light on yourself if you want it on longer. Easy to change the times according to daylight savings and/or schedule changes.
