So I purchased the Zookia pitching machine direct from the company them selves about 8 months ago. It worked great for the first few month. Last time I went to use it I received error code 12. The instructions tell you clean the barrel sensors. I’ve done this several times. Called to get support and there is no one to answer the phone. Called multiple numbers. Finally got someone on the phone after 2 weeks of calling and leaving voicemails. He asked me to clean sensors. So I did. Wanted pictures. Everything went to email from here. I have been back and forth with them for two weeks. They are waiting on “their engineers” to get back with them. I’m very mechanical incline. I own and operate 8 commercial chicken houses. Always working on something. They respond to me like I’m a third grader in emails. This is not a machine you want to purchase. There is no where to review their products on their website. I have spent $900 and have nothing but a paper weight now. I coach a 10u travel ball team for my son and his Friends. We are now looking for another style pitching machine. Truly a waste of money!

This is the best pitching machine on the market for price and quality. The additional auto feeder works awesome and easy to use. The ability to use rubber cage balls or hardballs is awesome. The machine has enough power to last for hours of batting practice on just changed batteries if needed and plenty of power to throw at high speeds for higher level athletes.

The Zooka is an amazing Pitching Machine. Pitches real baseballs within the strike zone. I like the fact that it’s portable and easy to assemble. What stands out is that it lets my son know when the pitch is coming by a series of beeps and a light. Most other machines don’t do that. Definitely worth every penny.

As a pitching machine, this machine is not effective at higher speeds because the ball comes out with no spin. At higher speeds, the balls acts like a knuckle ball, so unless your youth player sees alot of knuckle balls, it's ineffective. It's effective in simulating ground balls and fly balls, but hitting a fungo is better for so many reasons. My machine started to make a rattling noise several months after purchase. When I emailed/called for customer service, they were not helpful.
