I chose the GaraDry threshold to stop rain from getting under my garage door without drilling holes in my new door. The 5-year warranty reassured me as I tried this pricey product. The threshold is made of high-quality material that supports my Rav4 without any trouble. The high threshold also helped close the gap on one side of the door. My installer had to troubleshoot around the gap, and once the weather improves, I can address the uneven floor.Despite the gap, I still need the threshold because rain and melted snow were entering the garage the entire length of the door. The included foam blocks were a useful bonus, effectively blocking light from coming through the ends of the entryway.Note: The recommended placement is to put the seal behind the garage door so that the bottom of the door rests on the front of the threshold. The GaraDry website has alternative placements, tips, and the manual. Customer Service is also helpful before purchase. It is recommended that temperatures are in the 50s to 95 F for the glue to stick and dry properly. If you don't plan to use it right away, inspect the item thoroughly within the 14-day return window. Also, you cannot return the item unless it is in new condition. You pay return shipping which can be expensive if you get the larger thresholds (50+ lbs).If I hadn't minded drilling into the door, I would have bought the Snirt Stopper, which worked for me in the past and was a third of the cost of the GaraDry solution.

Does the job. I had tried brushes on the bottom of the garage door, building up a cement ramp along the floor and still driving rain came in. This item finally beat the rain.

Seals threshold well - easy to install. This is much better than the other brand I installed last year. The extra height and width creates a much better barrier. Install tip, if not already done and if it will not hinder the door integrity, cut the lower portion of the garage door track off to allow the seal to go fully flush with wall and corner instead of trying to cut the material to fit around the bracket. Also place weights on the seal for a day or two to allow sealant to set up well. Just so happens, where the seal was installed was not where the water was coming from. So I built up the outer wall edge and inner wall with quickrete concrete to see if that will complete the seal. I hate having to squeegee the floor after every rain... One thing for sure... the threshold is sealed. The only con I have is the cost. It is not cheap for sure but I expect this will last many years if I reseal the edges every year or so. One more tip... Set the material flat in the sun, rolled out flat, to allow the heat to get material flexible before install. Easy to cut with band saw but hard to hold and cut with recip saw.

I used for a slightly different purpose than a flood barrier. Garage door is wooden and had developed the “smile” where the edges are pulled up due to the constant tension on the cables and springs. This worked well to seal the bottom of the garage door on both sides. Seems durable.

I purchased this in the fall of 2020, but because of the weather only installed it a couple of months ago. I rated a previous product with a lower profile highly, because it was effective at keeping rain out of my garage. It failed--fell apart where the tires crossed it--after a couple of years, but I figured OK, it's worth it to keep the rain out. This time I bought a slightly higher profile as sometimes we get A LOT of rain. It failed at both tire tracks after just a couple of months. Knowing that this could happen, we drove as gingerly across it as possible. This is just not acceptable durability for something that is supposed to serve as a garage threshold. Finally, some of these are supplied with silicone to hold it in place. Do not use it. Mine came up a couple of times despite careful preparation of the cement surface. Instead, use the Locktite PL Max. Some thresholds come with this, and it seems to work much better. I'm going to get another threshold, but the next one will be solid rubber.

My garage has a high gap between the floor and the door, and this was the thickest threshold I could find. It works well but was tough to cut to size with a standard razor blade. Kind of expensive for the product, but it got the job done.

My garage would get flooded from just a drizzle. We have had major down pours and still dry! I am so very happy with this. I would give it 10 stars. Easy to install and cut to fit. Start with one end and really stand back and line it up before you make on your floor so you can glue it down. And I had no problems with the tubs that came with it. Was way more than enough included to get the job done. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!
