Perfect size for crumbl mini cookies. Added extra flair to the dessert table. They are very sturdy.

I got these cake bases because they were an ideal size for a crafting project–I had a craft table where kids could decorate pine cones to look like animals, and these served as a base for pinecones that wouldn’t stand up on their own.The bases look lovely; I got the gold option and it has a nice sheen to it without being overly shiny or reflective. The opposite side is white, so though it’s not gold on both sides I do think it’s nice that it’s been given some kind of treatment instead of being left with raw cardboard. They are not very thick, but they have a good rigidity to them. I tried bending one against a hard surface and it only flexed a little, and returned to its original flat shape. They worked great having pinecones hot glued to them so I’m sure they will withstand the weight of a small pastry.These are a great way to distribute individual pastries when you don’t want to use a plate that needs to be washed. It will offer a nice presentation and should hold up well to use.
