My dog was my flower girl and this worked perfectly. She can sometimes get excited and I was worried about something like this breaking. When reading the reviews I thought it was work a try. Me and my (then finance) tried breaking it with no luck. It's got like a steel braid on the inside so it's not going anywhere. It also didn't get stuck in her fur which was perfect.

We used this at our wedding and had the biggest fear of it breaking and beads flying everywhere. We tested it before hand just in case. It works great and was way more durable than expected. My dog is 60 pounds with a lot of muscle. Walking down the isle and seeing my now husband at the end was hard for her not to pull but the leash held up great! The size was good and it is lightweight. However, it was pretty hard to hold and the beads moved around a bit which means so did your hand when trying to hold her back.

I will preface this with saying my dog is a trainer service dog so he doesn’t pull on the leash, however I was very impressed with how sturdy it was. It was the perfect length and went great with my jewelry.

I was pleased with the leash and it looked great with the bridal ensemble my dog wore for a costume contest. I haven’t used it heavily and plan to keep it for special occasions and events. I cannot speak to durability of day-to-day wear because I have not used it in this way. I do love the leash though. It is very pretty.

I bought this for my wedding and also a backup as I planned on this one breaking. I have an Australian Shepherd who loves to pull and had low expectations for this. The leash itself is actually made up of a braided steel so it doesn't break at all and the clasp is pretty strong. She pulled and pulled and was a total freak and this didn't show any signs of weakening at all. I'm very impressed with this leash and would definitely recommend it. It's very pretty and elegant.
