My initial impression upon unboxing was, "These look… like mandrels." They're metal, they're threaded, and they look like they should fit my rivet gun. However, a crucial detail was missing from the product description, which caused a frustrating initial setback.2. Pros:* Seems Well-Made (Appears Durable): The mandrels appear to be well-made and sturdy. They look like they can handle the stress of repeated use.* Includes Rivet Nuts (A Helpful Addition): The inclusion of 20 rivet nuts is a nice bonus. It ensures I have the necessary hardware for my riveting projects.3. Cons:* Missing Thread Pitch Information (A Major Omission): This is my biggest gripe and the reason for the lower rating. The product description failed to mention the thread pitch of the mandrels. This is a critical piece of information, as different rivet nuts use different thread pitches. Unfortunately, my existing bolts were 1.3 thread pitch, and these mandrels turned out to be 1.5. This resulted in cross-threading when I first tried to use them, which was incredibly frustrating. It's like buying a wrench set and not knowing what sizes the wrenches are.4. Overall Thoughts: These Wadayu mandrels seem well-made, but the lack of thread pitch information is a significant oversight.5. Suggestions for Improvement:* Clearly State Thread Pitch: Please, please, please add the thread pitch information to the product description! This is essential for customers to ensure compatibility with their rivet nuts and avoid cross-threading issues.6. Recommendation: I cannot fully recommend this product until the thread pitch information is clearly stated in the product description. While the mandrels themselves seem fine, the missing information makes them a gamble. It's like buying a key without knowing what lock it fits. You might get lucky, but you're just as likely to be left stranded. If you know the thread pitch you need and can confirm it matches these mandrels, then they might be a good option. But without that crucial detail, it's a risky purchase.

My husband needed to replace the mandrel in his riveter set that he broke. He chose this set. These are good quality rivet nut inserts and replacement mandrels. They are easy to use and work great. He does an assortment of jobs. They fit well and are very affordable.

I mistook these for pieces that I could change out on my hand riveter gun. But I have a smaller rivet gun that isn't adaptable. I'm going to get a hand rivet gun that I can use these with. There are rivet tools that I can get which will use these & also switch to using blind rivets. This is a great idea & will solve alot of issues I run into when fabricating. I really like this kit.

Exactly as advertised works great the negative reviews with them breaking are probably just user error the inserts they come with work well also
