I have an electric bike and an electric scooter. Fortunately, I live in a city that is very bicycle and scooter friendly. Therefore, I am constantly riding one or the other, and take every opportunity to do so. Unfortunately, there have been times when my scooter has run out of power, before I could make it back home. So, I thought I needed to get a second battery, to carry with me, in case of emergency. But, an extra battery would cost almost as much as the scooter. Then, I turned my attention to obtaining a second charger to carry. So, when I got the chance to get this one, I waisted no time. It is a 42v 2A replacement charger, which works with most 36v lithium batteries. Among its various protections are against overload, overcurrent, short circuit, and over voltage. It comes with a power cable and has a charging light, indicating red and green. I am very happy to have it. It will allow me to recharge my battery, if needed, in order to get back home.

This was not the right size for my eScooter but I was able to use it on a rechargable battery for a pair of shears and it worked perfectly. it's pretty fast charging and does the job. It's pretty lightweight and smaller than the eScooter charger that came with my eScooter. I wanted to have a charger at work for days my commute is longer or I want to make a stop on my way home.
