The rope ladder clamps are made of space-age composite material that will not scratch or mar a boats finish. The clamps are reusable, so if your rope breaks, the clamps can be removed and placed on new rope. The rope is 1/2 inch nylon with a weight load of 500 pounds. USPS dropped the ball and returned item as undeliverable. Contacted the company and Tom responded within 24 hours. They sent the item to me Fed Ex at no additional charge. Service was outstanding. The ladder is perfect. I can now swim out to our moored sailboat and climb in easily. Thank you!
