I have used these type of connectors Jack Nuts, Hollow Wall Anchors for years and they work surprisingly well for any hollow mounting application. I am a Realtor and always need to add screw holes into my PVC signs or I use them to mount items on various PVC fences. These work well and have never become loose or fallen out. I also have the expansion tool to expand the unit inside the hollow mounting surface. ( I never knew this tool was optional... I just used it how I was taught. so I learn something new every day). The ability to use these without the tool is just a bonus! I will keep more in my tool kit for even more uses! For the quantity and quality I found this to be a good value... PS I also counted to be sure there were 50.. nope only 47.. haha no worries.

Ok, these arrived as a jumble in the bottom of the shipping bag. Several bodies were missing screws and several screws were missing bodies. Problem was that the bodies and screws that were loose did not match up with each other.Out of 125 complete units, I only had 101 which is not a great thing.Other than that, what I have appears to be ok. The bodies are already started for expansion, so they do not fit into a tight hole. I had to drill the hole larger for them to fit in. Still works, but not a great feature.I would not recommend this product.
