This netting works, if you can get it on. Tried it on a medium size blueberry bush. knocked most of the berrys off wrangling it on. You cannot put it on early because you need the bees to pollinate. The drawstring did not tie off the bottom tight enough (I tried) to keep a ground squirrel from getting inside and having a feast. It did keep the birds and insects out though.

I got these to protect our young plum trees this summer. Beetles have been terrible in prior years. These nets were PERFECT and exactly what we needed. Easy to set up - I recommend having an additional adult helper and using an extendable painting pole/rod with an empty roller on the end to get the netting over the top. Rain, shine, storms, heat - no issues. Bugs, birds, squirrels - no issues. We ended the season with 2 healthy trees, undamaged fruit, and bags that were easy to wash & put into storage.

I used 2 sizes a large and medium. I have very mature blueberry bushes in my yard and smaller, newer bushes. I cannot reach to the tops of a few bushes and need my grandson's help. Next year I will create an opening in the top of the bags and create drawstring openings. The top opening will allow us to pick as the blueberries ripen at different times. We begin picking the last week of June throughout July so we need bags that we open and close. The birds were kept away and the deer did not get to them either. There are many very young deer and we don't mow because my entire yard is covered with young blueberry bushes and strawberries. Strawberries ripen about a month before the blueberries but we no longer pick strawberries they are wild and under sized.

We used 2 nets to cover our Apricot Tree. Although we were sure we had coveted the tree completly, somehow some bugs still got in, and attacked some of the fruit. By far the majority of fruit was unblemished. Will use it again.

I will use these every year until trees get too large. They can be tricky to get over taller tree so I made an “umbrella” out of pex pipe (cuz I had it) to lift and open bag for easier placement. They also helped protect from wind damage. I place them after blossom pollination and remove to harvest fruit. I also place smaller ones on tomato cages which can be left on all season.

We ordered this to protect our apricots from the birds. We were surprised at how ample it was - easily fit over our 5'+ tree both in height and width. We slipped it from the top down and the drawstring make it simple to close up so nothing can come in underneath the tree. The mesh is very sturdy but lets plenty of light in and we can test the ripeness of the apricots through the mesh without having to lift the netting. It will be very easy though to lift it up, pick the ripe fruit, then return it to fully cover the tree again. We might actually get to eat some apricots this year!

I bought this net to protect a young tree from the cicadas. The net nicely covered the tree but not the trunk.

These are a must have if you have fruit trees! I love them. Truly does protect your trees from pest and bugs, good size, works great, easy to set up and are very durable. This will save your fruit and all the hard work that you put into your trees! I love them! They work so great. I’m able to ripen my fruit completely without the birds getting to them before I can even harvest. Truly great to have.

we have had our own cherry tree for four years. i have never gotten even one cherry. i go out to the tree and there are PITS hanging from each stem.two years ago bought bird netting. somehow they got in anyway and AGAIN, not one.so this year we're trying this- it is MUCH smaller mesh than the bird one so i hope that stops them. two of us put it on, which made it a lot easierl... i'll update this in the fall when i know if it kept the birds out or not. we did catch birrds and baby rabbits though

I had difficulty finding a net that would protect my Apple tree. This is the best I could find but it’s not perfect by any means.I recommend going wider than this even with a dwarfing tree. Then put bamboo sticks or something similar inside to hold the netting up as it weighs quite heavily on the tree, snapping the leaves etc if you’re not careful
