It's nice to have a couple of 1/8" chucks for pre-setup. The 1/4" allows to use lager high quality bits. Our stock motor has no problem with the larger bits if we keep the spindle speed and travel rate in balance. We have no concerns about breaking bits. We use the same bits that we use in the 10 and 15amp routers. Since we also the Y-axis extension the lower completion times are a big improvement. It does require monitoring until you get the speeds and figured out. The 3018s don't have very powerful spindle or stepper motors, but the will get the job done faster once the setup is right. !/4" bits for roughing, 1/8" for the fine detail.

Fairly good quality, easy to change in and holds pretty well, no slippage and nice and concentric

Nice quality collets, each one has an individual case. Well made, comes with a locking nut. I plan on using these in a bench top mill.

I was glad I came across this collet set since I wanted to have some back up 1/4" and 1/8" collets. These collets fit my Genmitsu 3030-PROVer MAX CNC perfectly which has the stock spindle on it. I was glad to see the set also came with and extra clamping nut which I didn't notice before ordering. The collets are well made and look just like the one that came with my CNC. Now I will not need to worry if one of the collets gets damaged since I now have backups. It's nice that they come with their own individual cases but if they should somehow get mixed together the size is clearly engraved on each one.So the quality is great and the price seems to be in the going range, I think this is a good find.

I have two desktop CNC machines so I am lucky enough to have 2 M14 clamping nuts. That saves me from constantly changing out 1/8 inch ER11 collets for 1/4 inch collets, which can be a little fiddly. I have one set up with an eighth inch collet and the other with a quarter inch collet. The problem comes when I want to use the same size on both machines.I wish this set came with two nuts but the one that is included is a big help. I mostly use eighth inch bits on my smaller machine so I've set up the extra nut for that purpose.I've fitted the collets and nuts to both machines and they fit and work as expected.

I have a RoutER11 spindle on my desktop CNC machine, which uses ER11 collets. it only came with 4. but now I have spares of the most common used sizes. runout seems good enough for my uses.

ER11 collets are just tiny. They are great for watchmakers and holding small bits of stock for turning down. This set comes with the front nut, but you will need an adapter for your lathe. After a spur-of-the-moment order, I’m finding it quite challenging to locate a proper mount for them. That would be my one recommendation for these: including a proper adapter would make them much more versatile. As it is, it will take more time and be a bit fiddly to make something work with my lathe.Visually, they seem well made, without burrs or other debris, and they snap into the nut reasonably well. Just be aware that finding an adapter might be a challenge, so take that into consideration.
