Thermopile replacement operation steps:
(1) Close the gas valve, unplug the device power plug, ensure that the device is completely powered off, and cut off the gas supply.
(2) Remove the device panel, find the thermopile assembly, observe its connection method, and remove the thermopile that needs to be replaced.
(3) Install a new thermopile and reconnect the corresponding port.
(4) Restore the gas supply, ensure there is no leakage, start the device, and observe whether the flame is stable.
Thermopiles are suitable for the following models for reference.

Tested thermopile right out of the package and it could not produce any more then 425mV. Would not drive the fireplace gas valve. Replaced with a competitor (brand name unit) and got the voltage and the operation we were expecting. Sent this unit back for refund.

This product worked well. I measured the power output at 650 mV which is good.Note: The product description stated the lead is 36 inch but it is only 24 inch.

The hardest part is getting one’s hand in where the pilot light is inside the fireplace. It required me to cut off the spade terminals to slide the wires through the grommet between the fire box and access space for the control valve. Have small gage wire spade and or connectors on hand

I may have gotten a used one or a bad one unfortunately. :-(. My old thermopile was generating a max of 296mv and would drop below 100 when the switch went on. Hence a bad thermopile. This replacement however once installed only made it to 325mv "ish" and dropped to 105mv approx when on. Not even enough power to start the burner sequence. Certainly no where near the 750mv it's stated to be rated at. I even was patient and let it hit up thoroughly before testing again and still no luck. Will have to return and look for another vendor part.

Near perfect replacement for gas valve thermopile. Teflon wires and metal shields made for simple installation in my gas fireplace. Properly colored wires.

Working fine so far in our ventless gas fireplace. Installation was awful but that is the fault of the furnace design, has nothing to do with the thermopile itself.

I had an issue with my Harman Clarity 828i LP Gas Fireplace Insert not working with wall thermostat and only intermittently working with the manual on switch. This Thermopile fixed the problem. unit is working properly after installing.

I just need a thermopile that would produce its rated voltage to get my hot water heater running, but this thing will not produce enough to light the main burner... It barely makes enough volts to lit the pilot light! Even lighting the pilot is intermittent and it wont do it consistently ,probably because the voltage is borderline minimum for even that task..I dont think I can return it because I had to clip off the spade connectors at the end of wire to feed the line thru my burners door to route it to the outside...If the manufacturer will allow a return I would sure appreciate it , as the item is seriously defective...I will write a followup review if the manufacturer offers a refund and change my rating based on their customer care..
