I did not know these were a thing haha, we couldn’t reach the top of our pear and plum trees and I found this, works very well for the plums, the pears it seems to knock more down than catch but still helps get them from the higher areas we wouldn’t otherwise be able to reach. Multiple attachments to make the pole shorter or longer, I like it!

Excellent fruit picker for my pluots. It is well-made and sturdy. I like that it extends by adding the bars to it. Then I can take it apart down and put it in the carrying bag to store for the rest of the year.

The only edit I had to make was to wrap the end of the pole in masking tape to secure it to the basket more firmly. The gasket could not tighten enough to press the basket sides any closer to get and the pole spun without the tape.

I liked the assembly, it went together easily. The clamps provided are very poor quality. One broke immediate upon tightening the other stripped. Definitely investing in some higher quality clamps.

Basket and clamps are not correctly sized to attach to provided pole pieces. I had to wrap a few layers of duct tape around the end of the pole to get the basket clamps to hold in place. And this is not a telescoping pole, it's sections that screw together to adjust the length.
