Cela pourrait être une bonne serrure, SI LE kit d'installation REQUIS EST INCLUS.This could be a good lock, IF IT INCLUDED THE REQUIRED installation kit.

I used a strap kit from a kryptonite lock to mount the Abus lock. Took a good bit of patience to get it installed but it is firmly installed now. mounting the straps to the frame lock then sliding the entire assembly into place and strapping it onto the frame worked best for me. I did not have to remove any parts off of the bike to install.the adjustable mounts and 2.5" opening makes this lock the lock to buy. installed on my Large Aventon level 2 ebike.big plus is that the kryptonite chain plugs into this lock for extra security!

A simple cafe lock like the Abus 6950 (sometimes called a frame lock or a ring lock) comes standard on most city bikes in Europe. They’re convenient and add a modicum of security for quick stops. Why cafe locks are so rare in the U.S. is a mystery. EVERY city bike should have one to go with the U lock most cyclists already have. The Abus 6950 lock solves the single worst conundrum of cafe locks—bike fit. Cafe locks need to be mounted on a bicycle’s seat stays and the distance between seat stays can vary a lot depending on a bicycle's tire width and other factors. Cafe locks usually are designed to fit a fairly narrow range in seat stay widths, so it can be easy to buy a cafe lock that turns out not to fit your bike—especially true for mountain bikes, e-bikes and other bikes with wide tires/wider seat stay distances. The Abus 6950 is the only cafe lock that has ADJUSTABLE mounting flanges that allow this lock to fit the vast majority of bicycles. The 6950 is also heavier duty/more secure than most other cafe locks, can be ordered keyed alike with other Abus locks, and comes with Abus’s most secure X Plus type keys. All in all, it’s a convenient lock and overall a superb design. I have one on my city bike and recommend it.One additional detail….unless your city bike is specifically designed for mounting a cafe lock, meaning that it has welded on threaded mounting points on the seat stays, you’ll need to purchase cafe lock adapters—they’re like heavy duty zip ties that have threaded bolts attached for mounting the cafe lock and then in turn are mounted on your bikes's seat stays. The cafe lock adapters are easy to install, secure and inexpensive. However they do NOT come standard with many cafe locks, including the Abus 6950.

The only mounting equipment that comes with this are two bolts. Your bike has to have screw holes on the top of your rear triangle for it to mount. Bike doesn't have those? Too bad; ABUS sells some extra hardware to create mounting holes, but they cost more than the lock itself! The locking mechanism wastes your time. It's convenient to unlock it but inconvenient to lock it, which is the total opposite of what you want. To unlock it, you insert the key and turn and the lock snaps open. To lock it, there's a locking lever you need to push down, and you have to insert the key and turn at the same time. So locking requires both hands and it's somewhat finicky, when the whole point was to have a quick and easy way to disable the bike! It's completely backwards; should have been just a button to snap the lock closed, and instead have unlocking take a bit more effort.

Bought an expensive bike and needed an dependable lock. I will say I like the design of the lock, but maybe not the choice in material “of the body”. Feels a little cheap for a high priced bike lock.
