Original had some corrosion on the terminals. This was exact match, unplug old one plug in new one. Lock is PDL 3000. Bought a second one for fast battery replacement.

The original lasted a couple years before the screws stripped out. I do change the batteries every couple months to make sure we don't loose access. This one looks and feels the same as the original. So far it's been a year. Came back for a spare. Also, If you change them often enough rechargeable batteries do work. I have two sets of five so I can just switch them out then charge the ones I took out.

It was exactly what I was looking for, but had I been more knowledgeable I wouldn't have bought it.This is just a battery case for the unit, not a sealed battery pack. If you undo the screws on the top of the case, it contains 5 standard AA batteries. But I'll know better next time. Of course I'll probably be retired if this set of batteries lasts as long as the original ones, they ran the lock for about 12 years!! LOL!!

Replacement for a corroded battery pack. Came with the batteries and fit as expected. Keep an eye out on the batteries when replacing to make sure they haven't started leaking. The corrosion will cause the new set to drain very fast and eventually make the pack fail. I'm thinking of going with lithium batteries when these go.
