Seems that it would provide the needed support for achilles tendonitis. However, the sleeve on this size L brace is too tight around the arch area of my foot (women's shoe size 8.5 Med). I cannot wear this, and will return.

Got these because I have bad cramps after doing long walks. These allow pretty good movement of my ankles so I would consider them probably a light ankle support. Offers good compression. My shoes are just loose enough to fit these inside a sock and then the shoe itself. The bands on it do help stabilization, but sometimes I wish they weren't there since it makes them more bulky. The price was great though, so any shortcomings can be forgotten imo.

This item is so so. At first its ok but after 20 minus of use you get sharp pains in your arch. I have only used this while sitting or laying, but had to hurry and remove once the pain started.

I went up 2 sizes in mens to fit right, quality is nice, helps the pain, compression is good. Just one thing after so long in the back by the heel it starts to rub or something and starts to burn. That's only after 1 hr of use. Otherwise is a very nice product.
