These Diya battis are perfect sized. Neither too big nor too small. Good cotton.. saves me a lot of time in the morning prayers.

I was concerned that the wicks would not be made of cotton - but they are 100% cotton and work well.

Does what is supposed to do however I usually find small hair inside the bag which is pretty disgusting.

We have been vexed up with pooja wicks from Indian stores usually not up to the mark and overpriced . This was the best find for us

I bought these to go with the Rastogi Aarti and Diya lamp, I don’t think these are primarily intended for this type of lamp where the wick is threaded into the lamp through the opening at the top. These wicks are basically the same consistency of unraveled Q-Tips but more dense. They do work better in this lamp than the woven oil lamp wick I tried (it kept going out). As they are, these wicks are too thick to thread through the lamp I have. I have to trim them lengthwise to make them skinnier. I then dip it in ghee and roll it as tight as I can and put it in the freezer just to stiffen it up long enough to thread it through the lamp. After that, it lasts through quite a few lightings by reversing the wick back up from the bowl as needed. There’s probably a more elegant way to do it but that’s what I came up with!
