I had already been using the acrylic version of a bug feeder. This is a much better one. Acrylic looks nicer in a tank, but the reptiles I feed don't realize it is an acrylic wall, and they constantly try going at the bugs through the bottom part. Banging their faces against the wall. With this version - the bottom is solid so they cannot see the bugs unless the bugs are climbing, or the reptiles are above and can reach down to eat. This feeder definitely makes me feel like a better reptile parent. No more geckos and lizards smacking their faces against a window. Well worth it!
