Exactly what I've been looking for, a long portable torch with excellent heat output. Customer service was amazing answered all my questions promptly. Quick delivery.

It's a decent torch and the instant on and off is a very convenient feature. Squeeze the trigger and it lights, let go and it extinguishes. If you don't want to hold the trigger to keep it lit there is a lock button. The nozzle is bigger than most small bottle torches and the flame is larger then any I've ever used in this size torch. I needed to preheat some large copper parts quickly and this did the job nicely. The handle is comfortable enough and it is easy to manipulate the trigger and engage the lock if you need to but it is made from plastic and the durability is questionable. The nozzle is thin stainless and it wiggles in the handle. I've already seen a bottle mounted Bernzomatic torch have it's nozzle snapped off when it got knocked of a bench and fell a couple feet and it's construction was very similar to this one. It's fine for occasional use but if I had to use it often in a professional environment I'd be looking for something more durable.

If it's not a Bernzomatic don't waste your money. I don't need the holster but couldn't find just the torch.

I like this product especially since the propane or Butane does not leak until you press the trigger to light it. Awesome little torch creates immense heat.

his torch was recommended by the YouTuber "Anti DIY HVAC", now I know why.It made solder/brazing aluminum tubing a breeze.

Ive been using these for years, it really helps for tidy soldering and versatile angles. The identical torch from Rotheberger is double the price. The only down side is, if you get solder inside the torch(which is easily done) it's a swine to get out and it messes up the flame pattern and ignition. However I always prefer this unit.

I struggled with manual light propane torches for years and finally bought this to have a good tool. I just finished a plumbing job to move a hose bib to another location by burying copper pipes and this touch on a hose made soldering below ground easier than trying to hold a bottle at those angles.Map gas is worth the extra cost. It heats up so much faster than propane. At one point the pipe on the house I was connecting to had a little bit of water left in it and I just went for it and it had no issue evaporating that water and letting me solder the coupler. The thing I really like about this torch is the on/off nature of it. You simply pull the trigger and it lights, release and it's off. No fumbling with multi twist valves or strikers. This makes your bottle last longer. The trigger is also variable so you can reduce the flame easily. It never blows itself out either.

First off, I received my new propane torch head in a lightning fast two days from payment to my door without any expedited shipping (Thumbs-up to amazon). As far as the actual product goes, I have these things to say:- I am impressed with the double stitching on all seams, and the seemingly durable exterior and interior parts of this product.- It was ready to go three minutes out of the package and was brazing some copper tubing like it's done it a million times.- I don't understand where people are coming up with this "stuck lock switch" business. I had absolutely not trouble with the lock getting stuck in the "on" position. It's all pretty simple, squeeze at the top of the switch and it releases.- After a good weekend's use I have had no faults with it, it is a bernzomatic and to me that means quality. I expect the seals and tubing to hold up just like all the other fine products they make.* The only thing I am curious of is I don't see an easy way to replace whatever battery is necessary to keep the trigger start striking after a long time of using.**-- I am generally not one to "freak out". But, Holy Cow! Just wait till you revel in the awesomeness that is the metal sheath for the torch head! No more stray burns from accidentally bumping into a torch nozzel for this DIY-er.If what you need is a very portable, easy to use, streamlined and minimal propane torch set-up, look no further.
