Heavy Duty Solid Galvanized Steel
Make sure the rail is 100% Leveled. DO NOT weld the rack directly onto the gate. DO NOT weld the screws with the rack. DO NOT weld the racks together. Only the screws should be welded to the gate. Leave 2mm distance between the rack and the gear of the opener.

It took a lot of trial and error to install the opener. Even when using the updated instructions were lacking in direction. There is nothing there about what to expect when using the soft close. It should say that the magnets will pass by the machine and stop about a foot later . It was driving me crazy wondering why and if the magnets were even working. After finally getting it operational, I installed the safety sensors and the the gate wouldn't close completely! So after pushing to help the gate to close and it did, so thats when I figured the soft close was causing the problem. Ok, now I switch the mode to regular close, I had to move the magnets and this is when I discovered that magnets will now stop at the machine. Finally everything is working smoothly ! What a pain in the a$$! Come on sellers of Chinese stuff, Please get the directions problems fixed!

Inside box was triple tape that didn’t give me a warm feeling only to find that the case of the item was broken cracked and missing pieces so it was repackage like that, but I guess I’ll have to send it back

Got the hard wired version and so far seems pretty good, used it for a small project of mine to automate a dog kennel to open and close remotely.Very happy so far.
