The 010M filter will eliminate unwanted invisible UV light, so that ocean and high mountain region photos will not be blurred or have a blueish cast. The filter also has a MRC Nano coating to repel water and dust.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered 2x 39mm UV filters. Both were really dirty / smeared. And one was completely the wrong size (43mm not 39mm). It's hard enough finding 39mm filters that will go on Voigtlander lenses with a hood in place. And it's really disappointing when what used to be a good brand delivers such poor quality items.

Master series. The two sizes I received have a color cast that I noticed in the images. Confirmed when placed on bright white 8x10 sheet of paper. Images where slightly duller when using them. This is on a Fuji system

I only needed a 39mm clear/protector tho availability drove me to the UV version. I thought the price was too high for a 39mm filter only you can't get Hoya HD or Fusion 39mm filters. Sure B+W brass means the filter won't stick/jam only I don't plan on removing this particular filter. The Master series are easy clean only lots of filters have these types of coatings (and explains the demise of Hoya Pro-1 digital which doesn't). Comes in a new leather type wallet rather than the plastic box of the older H+W XS-Pro etc that I also use. You can't knock the quality only the price for a 39mm filter leaves a bitter after taste and not helped by there being no clear ones available. I don't need UV and digital cameras are not impacted by UV (the gains with later generation films were exaggerated too).
