This was purchased as a gift for an avid outdoors person who gave was happy with the gift. This was a heavy box and the metal parts were not hallow; they look like sturdy to me.

Still a little bulky when folded down but works great when set up. I camp a few times a month most of the year and i can see this working great for longer trips.

I love the deep penetration of the ground-stakes and the heavy duty metal craftsmanship. I can flame broil heavy meat even without hanging a pot to balance the stand. The height adjustment lets me cook over any fire, including a park-grill. I never let my food touch a park-grill. This grill stows easily in my micro motorhome so I no longer need to carry as much. You will love it too.

This set offers an easy way to turn any fire pit into a grill. It doesn't take up much space, fits anywhere you want to place it and it's stable. I was worried initially about it tipping over when I placed a heavy cast iron pan on the grill, thankfully it held up nicely without any issues. The wooden handle let's you rotate the grill of the fire to control temperature and doesn't get hot to the touch. When is not in use, it collapses down and doesn't take up too much storage.

At first when assembling this I thought the main poles felt light. Once assembled and staked into the ground it is stable and can hold a large steak and Dutch oven though. It's nice the arm swivels also. Overall this makes a handy grilling set up when in a pinch or when having a large cooking set up isn't doable.

Kind of a small grill, but that's clear in the picture. Definitely sturdier than I expected. Our backyard soil is kind of sandy, so I wasn't expecting it to be sturdy enough to hold a cast iron cauldron or kettle, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it held up. We're cooking over a brick fire pit, so I was concerned the arms wouldn't be long enough. But we built up the fire close to the wall we stuck the grill near, and it worked just fine.Genuinely satisfied with my purchase.

This is heavy duty and very stable. Works great for outdoor camp cooking. My 4 quart Dutch oven works perfect on it
