These are excellent dowels! You can tell they're hard maple and not something you would get at Home Depot or at a hobby shop or hardware store. Very happy!

Nice maple wood dowels but the size never seems to be 1/2 inchi been buy these for a few years local but the new store owner never keeps them in stockso i thought i wood try ordering them on linei got them but the thickness is still of by 1.50 to 2.25 mmso the still needed to be sanded down to 1/2 inch
