I bought these to replace worn out grates on my smoker. They fit great on my char griller. I hated them up and applied some grape seed oil to help season them and let it bake on. They seem to be holding up very well, and they don't have the awful Teflon in them.

Seems to be fine, however it's not stainless steel... Magnet sticks to it, seems as if it's cast iron. The grates are ok, however I have problem with them being promoted as stainless steel when they aren't

The Cooking Grates Replacement Parts for Chargriller Gas Grill is a perfect fit for my CharGriller Duo Pro. Made of quality cast iron, these grates fit perfectly onto the grill and were easy to clean after the first use. Even after multiple uses, they still look new. These grates are worth the money spent and are cheaper than purchasing replacements directly from CharGriller. My only complaint is the need for an option to purchase three grates instead of four, as the extra grate cannot be used. However, despite this minor inconvenience, the product deserves a 5-star rating.

We love these grates. Cast iron is a great conductor of heat. Once the grates are heated, they hold the heat allowing the food to cook more evenly. Consequently, less charcoal is needed. I think it is important to know that cast iron is very heavy and lasts a lifetime. For best results, the grates should be cleaned and oiled after each use. The oil prevents rusting and makes clean up easy. I highly recommend.
