Solid Construction

Solid Construction

Full Aluminum alloy and braided cable provide great durability for daily use. The aluminum shell ensures zero signal interference for crisps sound.

This adapter can NOT convert stereo sound into 5.1 surround sound, it can only transfer stereo/5.1 surround sound from your computer to your DAC, AMP, or soundbars that can decode SPDIF signals, so you’ll need a computer, a 5.1 music/movie file, a medial player that can decode 5.1 files (Kodi player, etc.), a 5.1 audio system and a little bit of setup to get 5.1 surround.

The key to perfect 5.1 surround sound is to make sure the adapter is set as the default direct output device in the media player and your computer's sampling rate is per your DAC/AMP/sound bar.

For detailed setup procedures, please refer to the user manual.

Tendrás audio en 2 canales pero solo eso es lo que necesitas para conectar tu Dac o tus headset astro antiguos o Skullcandy si funcionarán con todo y micrófono... También puede usar los 2 ópticos de forma independiente.

It just works!Pros:Audio quality to signal strength is awesome and the bit rate/sample rate is correct. Zero distortion when going straight into a receiver or dac with spdif. Using both outputs maybe slightly decreases signal strength but barely noticeable. On android type c its recognized as speakers and does the full bitrate if your phone supports it. I got it on my s24 and boy these bring out the dynamics, mids and high are clear and flat.Cons:Processing delay: you will notice 1 or 2 seconds of delay before hearing anything when you stop playing audio and play it again. Does this on pc and android. Not a big issue since that helps eliminate noise when nothing is not actively sending a signal, more of a plus then a con if you value clean audio vs latency.Summary:It works and it works well and its very portable and cheap and does what I always wanted my dacs to do, take my input via usb and just turn it into spdif/toslink so I can share my music with my receivers or amps.

Better sound than Bluetooth. Supports 192khz top quality sound. Check your specs! See if your amp has SPDIF inputs that can process 192 -- not all SPDIF inputs are the same. If the source is set at 192, but the amp SPDIF input isn't rated up to192, the audio will stutter on output, so just bring source down a notch to 96 and it will still sound great.Customer support was helpful with that. I had one Pioneer top-level amp whose SPDIF inputs were 'only' up to 96, so I use this Cubilux with a different amp I have, a Denon that has 192khz, and the sound is also fantastic there, as it was at 96 on the Pioneer. The Cubilux is outputting from a laptop to the Denon, and it also works great outputting from handhelds like smartphones. The specs and price are great! Enjoy!

Signal switched on and off every second or so. Didn't pass any audio. Recognized in windows 11, 44kHz on device. Kept going from 44kHz to nothing.

“USB C to Dual SPDIF” Purchase this on 9/24/2023 arrive at 9/25/2023. My Mac Pro 2010 used optical going to my sound bar, just purchase a new Mac Pro 2019 and doing my research optical sound is not available anymore on any new Mac. I just try this on my Mac Pro 2010 using a thunderbolt PCI card and work nicely. The vendor said this splitter does not control the volume, well thats true, however I control my Mac Pro 2010 to mute quickly. When restarting my computer is a 1-2 second delay after that this little gadget work nicely. Youtube sound is great, FaceTime is great and Apollo TV work nice. I Purchase the dual just incase one of them stop working but a single is also fine for the price.

The first time it connected there was a lot of static from one speaker and it just needed the cable plug to be wiped clean. I don't know which piece was the problem!

I've used it for a couple of weeks and its working great, i can use my gaming headphones and move to the home teather by just chaning the output device in Windows. Both outputs are in sync which is good if you are looking for synced music output.

I wanted an all in one solution for using any pair of headphones across the platforms I have (PC, PS5, Switch). It works great with the PS5. It shows up as a headphone and the audio is different than that coming from an audio extractor, which is designed to be for speakers. It works great with PC too.Sadly, this doesn't work with the Switch, so this cannot be an all-in-one solution for using regular headphones. But if all you need it for is the PS5 or PC, you're golden!EDIT 06-20-2024: This works great on android devices and Windows PCs, except for the Windows Netflix app. I don't know why, but whenever the app sends audio through the device, it makes a very sharp and loud static noise. I was using a Chord Mojo 2, which has an optical input. Most of the time I use USB so I never noticed it until now. I have no idea why this is happening and it only happens with the Netflix app. I did experience this on the PS3 when using Optical to the Chord Mojo2 and that was because the bitrate was too high. That may be what is happening here, but even at the lowest setting in Windows, the noise still occurs. So if you're wanting to use optical audio and Chord gear, beware of the Netflix Windows App.
