I searched and searched for these online and finally I posted on a truck forum and a guy sent me the Amazon link to buy there. Perfect fit and love having matching key locks on both sides. Previously I only had one lock and always had to walk back and forth to lock unlock and re-lock. Quality product. Thanks.

Arrived before Amazon even knew it was shipped. Available when my local TSC store couldn't get it. Paid a premium price, but it was worth it. Good quality. Easy to install.

I would give 5 stars if the return spring was stronger. It doesn't want to return the mechanism far enough to turn the lock. I lubed it with white lithium still needs a little assistance to return far enough to lock.

Looks like the latch Looks new and uninstalled. But the packaging looks cut open and parts removed. It would have to been very easy for whoever picked the order to see this. Now I have to return this or go buy some rivets. One star.

Bought a pair after reading they would be keyed alike. They were not. Had to use the tumblers from the old set for the new latch posts. Springs are not strong enough to rotate post locked if closed while rotated (quiet closing).

I ordered 2 and they were keyed the same, as expected. There are 2 keys per package, so now I have 4 keys to the tool box, which is nice. I also replaced the strikers on both sides. Easy work replacing them. Just drill out the old rivets and swap the parts. You will need a hand riveter (they are cheap). Very satisfied.P.S. I've found that with aluminum rivets you will often break the shaft in the middle instead of near the head. Just bend the remainder until it breaks off, or snip it off. Nbd.

I replaced the latch in my old tool box with this one. I'm sorry I can't tell you the brand of tool box. I bought it used and the label is worn off. I have posted some photos so that you can see more detail of what the latch looks like. Also be sure to save your set screw and cross bar holder from your old latch because this one does not include a new one.In the first photo, I show the old and new latch side by side. The old one is in the background. In between the two is the cross bar holder and set screw from the old latch. In the second photo, I show the cross bar holder sitting in the old latch with the set screw in place. The third photo shows the holder set into the new latch. Also, as you can see, this latch uses a vertical post that rotates 90 degrees when the latch handle is pulled. When it rotates, the teeth disengage from the tool box lid. This latch comes with 4 pop rivets. You will have to drill out your old rivets and replace them with this one. The holes in the latch lined up perfectly with the old holes.
