Our house is very energy efficient. Even though it stays fairly cool in the summer, when the humidity level gets too high, we have to run the AC just to relieve dampness. Clearly, a dehumidifier was called for, and this is the one I got.It's very easy to use, and I like its features--it will turn itself off when the water reservoir gets full, it's super easy to empty, there are high and low settings, it's quiet, and if you want to, you can attach the provided tube so it continually drains into a larger bucket (or even the sink if you place the dehumidifier on the counter). It's small and attractive. There's a little pop-out drawer to add essential oils to if you want.This is a nice little unit. I recommend.

I got this for my granddaughter's bedroom. When it rains there is always condensation above the window but the property management people say there is no leak. The condensation has lead to mold at times, which is very bad for the breathing and health in general.First day this was plugged in it collected 1 cup of liquid and that was without it raining. So I have to say, for us, this serves the purpose very well.It's a compact unit, so don't expect it to work for very large rooms, but for a normal bedroom, or even the bathroom, I feel this works and is a good value.My only criticism is that shipping took longer than it should have, but I won't take a star off for that since the unit functions well.So all in all I'm happy with this item.

This is a nice little dehumidifier. It isn't heavy duty by no means, but it does work in small spaces, like a camper. I've worked with heavy duty units that would take an hour to fill up, but this takes a little longer. However, in comparing this to a larger unit, this one is far more quiet. You also get the luxury of having mood lighting if you wish.This comes with the above-mentioned lighting along with a felt for essential oils. Since I prefer a diffuser, I won't use this feature, but it is nice to have. It has a decent sized water reservoir that pulls out easily for drainage. I appreciate that it has a lid on the reservoir if it gets too full. It could prevent spilling when going to drain it. The reservoir has a drain hole to attach a tube for draining, included with the package. It also has a floating full-stopper so that it will not overflow. This dehumidifier has some nice features and is ideal for small areas. I recommend this product.

This dehumidifier is rated for a little over 300 square feet. It is a very small and compact unit compared to the larger dehumidifiers. So if you want to do an entire house go get the big ones. If you want to dehumidify a bathroom or a couple of small rooms it would work.The unit is quiet even at the high fan speed. At low speed it is very quiet. Mine came with an extra drain plug and an extra aromatic box. What I really appreciate is the small size. I have a grow tent for veggies and during the summer I need to control the humidity to prevent mold. Since the grow tent is in a room less than 300 square feet it would be sufficient. This will definitely fit in my grow tent. If you have a bathroom with mold definitely use a dehumidifier and this size would help keep the moisture away. As far as the lights go, I wouldn’t use them.

I turned it on after shower every day. For 5 days total, I was only able to collect less than an inch deep of water. The dehumidifier is very compact though, so it may still be useful for some purpose, like using in a closet.
